First of all, I suffer from anxiety, too. My first symptoms occurred when I was eight years old. So, you could say that I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t subject to some form of anxiety.

Secondly, I’m a retired surgeon-turned-author, and in recent years, a meditation and breath coach specializing in helping fellow seniors who suffer from anxiety to decrease their symptoms without medication*.

ABOUT DR. BAZ —

*My approach is not considered medical advice, nor am I against seeking medication when symptoms necessitate their use. I encourage everyone to seek the opinion of their medical practitioner before adopting any treatment protocol.

My Approach

Since anxiety is the result of an overstimulated nervous system, the approach I recommend is a combination of breath-cadences and audible vocalizations that are proven to de-escalate the overstimulation. Within ten minutes, most participants notice a calmer body and mind.

Simple Ideas

The breath is a powerful controlling force that can dictate the nervous system’s response.

Lasting Impacts

Though there is no cure for anxiety, its symptoms can be effectively managed with the 10-Minute Silent Sound Reset.
