Hi, It’s Baz.
Though the image above is an AI-generated one, I’m still really glad you’re here.
If you subscribed to my Substack newsletter, there’s a good chance your mind doesn’t always slow down when you want it to. (Not subscribed yet? Click Here)
You might notice it most at night, when your body is ready to rest but your thoughts keep moving. Or during the day, when there’s a constant background tension that never fully switches off.
I know that experience personally. Does that make us anxiety siblings? 🧐
For a long time, I tried to solve it by thinking differently. I thought if I could just understand what was happening in my mind, I could calm it down.
But what I eventually realized is that anxiety doesn’t start at the level of thought. It’s a state of the nervous system.
And when that system is overstimulated, the mind follows.
What helped me wasn’t forcing my thoughts to stop. It was learning how to gently settle the system underneath them.
That’s what I want to share with you.
I have a guided video that walks you through a simple process you can use the next time your mind won’t slow down. It’s free, and you’ll receive the link after you subscribe to Substack.
Here’s why my approach is unique:
You don’t need to clear your mind.
You don’t need to get it perfect.
Just follow along, and let the process do the work.
You can come back to this anytime you need it—especially at night.
Over the next few blog posts, I’ll share a few simple ways to make this easier to return to, so it becomes something you can rely on, not just try once.
For now, just start here.
Did I mention that I’m glad you’re here? 😊
