Fall Asleep Faster & Awaken Fully Refreshed in 8 Weeks Using Simple Practices to De-Escalate Your Overstimulated Nervous System
If your mind has been difficult to settle, especially at night, you’re not alone.
For many people, this doesn’t show up as anything extreme. It’s quieter than that. A steady stream of thoughts that don’t fully stop. A tendency to replay conversations. A kind of mental activity that continues even when your body is ready to rest.
Over time, it can become exhausting.
You may have tried different ways to manage it. Some may have helped temporarily. Others may not have stayed with you. And at a certain point, it can begin to feel like this is just how your mind works.
But in many cases, what’s happening isn’t something you have to fight.
It’s something you can learn to work with.
Hi, I’m Dr. Barry Baz Morris
“Dr. Baz” for short. I, too, suffer from anxiety and have since I was a child. I’m 70ish, a retired surgeon, and I know what it’s like to crave the peace of mind that you remember from long ago.
I’ve worked with therapists, undergone sleep studies, taken prescribed medication, even tried acupuncture for my various forms of anxiety, and all to no avail.
What finally helped was a set of simple practices I developed that helped me fall asleep faster and awaken more refreshed in about 8 weeks’ time.
How this is different
Most approaches try to calm the mind directly. They focus on changing thoughts, controlling attention, or creating stillness through effort.
That can work in certain situations, but when your system is already activated, it often feels like more pressure.
There’s a much better option
“Instead of trying to quiet the mind from the top down, we gently settle the nervous system underneath it.
“When that happens, the mind doesn’t need to be forced into calm. It follows naturally.
“This is the foundation of the work I do with clients.”
What this looks like in practice
The Quiet Mind Reset is an 8-week guided process.
It’s not something you have to figure out on your own, but something we move through step by step; it’s a pace that works for most.
We start by helping you understand what’s actually happening in your nervous system, so you’re no longer reacting to it without context.
From there, we begin establishing a simple, repeatable practice that helps your mind and body settle together.
As we continue, we look at the patterns that are specific to you. The triggers, the habits, the ways your mind tends to move. Not to analyze them endlessly, but to gently shift how you relate to them.
And over time, we build this into something that carries into
your evenings, so that rest becomes more accessible and consistent.
What tends to change
People often notice that their thoughts feel less urgent. The constant background tension begins to ease. That sleep becomes easier to access, without having to force it. And perhaps most importantly, that they no longer feel at the mercy of their own mind.
There’s a sense of space again.
Who this is for
This is for you if:
Your mind tends to stay active, especially at night
You find yourself overthinking or replaying situations
You feel a steady undercurrent of tension in your body
You’ve tried different approaches, but nothing has really stayed with you
You would benefit from clear, simple guidance rather than more information
How we’ll work together
It’s an 8-week process that combines personal support with a small group environment.
We begin with a private 1:1 online video session so I can understand your specific patterns and help you get started in a way that fits your experience.
From there, we meet twice each week in a small group setting: One session focused on guidance and practice. The other, focused on questions, refinement, and support.
I work with a limited number of people at a time, so the process remains personal and supportive.
Over the 8 weeks, we’ll:
Establish a consistent reset practice.
Identify and work with your specific patterns.
Gently reduce the underlying activation in your system.
Build a rhythm that supports deeper, more reliable rest.
There’s no pressure to perform. No expectation to do this perfectly. Just a structured way to come back into balance.
If you feel like this might help, you don’t need to decide anything right away.
If what you’ve read here feels familiar, the next step is simply to reach out.
We can have a short conversation at no charge and see if this feels like a good fit for where you are. If it is, I’ll walk you through how to get started. If it isn’t, that’s completely fine too.
Investment
“This is designed for one outcome: to equip you with the tools required to fall asleep faster, reduce distracting thoughts by 80%, and wake up refreshed, like you did when you were a kid.”
You can choose the option that feels most comfortable:
$3,000 paid in full, or
3 monthly payments of $1,100
A final note*
You’re not broken. Your nervous system has simply been carrying more than it needs to for a very long time, and because of that, your anxiety symptoms developed.
However, with the right kind of guidance, you can learn to settle it again.
It’s up to you.
